A-2020-158-01B <br />FIRST AMENDMENT TO <br />CNw)( S,,j\ AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AND <br />MANAGED CAREER SOLUTIONS FOR USE OF <br />CORONAVIRUS AID, RELIEF, AND ECONOMIC SECURITY ACT <br />(CARES ACT) FUNDS <br />THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SANTA <br />ANA AND MANAGED CAREER SOLUTIONS FOR USE OF CORONAVIRUS AID, <br />RELIEF, AND ECONOMIC SECURITY ACT (CARES ACT) FUNDS is entered into this <br />16th day of December, 2020, by and between the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and <br />municipal corporation organized and existing under the Constitution and laws of the State of <br />California ("CITY"), and Managed Career Solutions, SPC, a California social purpose <br />corporation ("SUBRECIPIENT" or "CONTRACTOR"). <br />RECITALS <br />A. On August 11, 2020, the City entered into Agreement #A-2020-158-1 with <br />SUBRECIPIENT to administer the CITY's Santa Ana CARES Small Business Grant <br />Program. <br />B. On October 30, 2020, the term of the agreement was extended through December 30, <br />2020, pursuant to Extension of Agreement Letter #A-2020-158-01A. <br />C. In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Agreement, the parties desire to <br />amend the Scope of Work for the services that SUBRECIPIENT will provide the <br />CITY. <br />NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual and respective promises, and <br />subject to the terms and conditions of said Agreement, except as herein modified, the parties <br />agree as follows: <br />The Scope of Work that is referenced in the Agreement and attached as Exhibit A <br />thereto, shall be amended to delete the following language from the Ineligible <br />section: <br />"Businesses that have received or will receive the County of Orange District I <br />Grant Program" <br />2. Except as hereinabove modified, the terms and conditions of said Agreement remain <br />unchanged and in full force and effect. <br />
