Orozco, Norma
From:Tristan Miller-Mansey <tristan@mansey.com>
Sent:Monday, February 01, 2021 11:09 AM
To:eComment
Subject:Residents + Community Support CCE
Dear Mayor and City Council Members,

We are writing you to show our support of Community Choice Energy program for our city.

That support includes my family, our local business and over 35 fellow local supporters + groups listed below
and the over 106 signatures of support: http://chng.it/tMqCsYtTDN

Thank you for scheduling a CCE presentation this Tuesday.

We support this revenue-positive program, because it will save residents | businesses money, brings revenue to
our community by keeping our rate payer dollars in our city, for our city.

CCE allow our city to convert to renewable energy faster, which reduces pollution. Pollution impacts the health
and quality of life for our residents in so many ways.

CCE’s is revenue positive and bring millions and savings to each city. For example, Monterey Bay Customer
Savings are estimated to be: $14M in 2019; on track to deliver $19M in savings this year, Clean Power SF has
saved customers $11 million, Irvine is looking at $10.6 million in annual net revenue and $7.7 million in
annual savings for Irvine consumers- while reducing emissions equal to recovering 78,000 cars off the road
with fellow cities joining and San Mateo’s CCE has saved customers over $18 million and reduced emissions
equal to taking 30,000 cars off the road.

This program has the potential to generate tens of million per year in revenue for Santa Ana. This money can
be used for COVID relief as so many CCEs are doing now, EV charging stations, subsidies for EV vehicles,
green public transportation-- all sorts of programs to green OC and is important to attracting and retaining
businesses to Santa Ana.

Imagine a future like this for Santa Ana. Let’s do this for our city.

Here are informative videos on CCE too: https://cleanpowerexchange.org/resources/videos/ May we provide
further experts or support as your consider this program?

Thank you for all your service to our city.

In support,

Tristan Miller - Resident, Business Owner and Volunteer

Virginia Bernal, Amir Baum, Stacy and Matt Laster, Jose Gloria, Diaz Yenni, Virginia Bernal, Patricia Flores, Gregory Tabat,
Suman Bhasin, Jon Mansey, Tristan Miller, Chiara Delfino, Kevin Shuler, M.
