TENTATIVE PARCEL MAP NO. 2018-04 (COUNTY MAP NO. 2018-190) AND SPECIAL <br />USE PERMIT NO. 2020-01 –Kathy Khang, Case Planner. <br /> <br />LOCATION: 3100 and 3130 South Harbor Boulevard located in the Light Industrial (M-1) <br />zoning district. <br /> <br />REQUEST: The applicant is requesting approval of the following land use entitlements: (1) <br />a tentative parcel map and (2) a special use permit to subdivide an existing office complex <br />containing two buildings into two condominium units for the above-mentioned property. <br /> <br />Case Planner Khang provided a staff presentation. Commission discussion ensued <br />regarding existing property use, economic development benefits of subdiving the property, <br />and parking. <br /> <br />Recording Secretary provided a summary report of correspondence received. <br /> <br />Chair McLoughlin opened the Public Hearing. The applicant spoke in support of the matter <br />and answered questions regarding reason for subdividing the property and the economic <br />benefits. There were no other speakers and the Public Hearing was closed. <br /> <br />MOTION: Adopt No. Resolution 2020-23. A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING <br />COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING TENTATIVE PARCEL MAP <br />NO. 2018-04 AND SPECIAL USE PERMIT NO. 2020-01 AS CONDITIONED TO <br />SUBDIVIDE AN EXISTING COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT INTO TWO CONDOMINIUM <br />UNITS FOR THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 3100 AND 3130 SOUTH HARBOR <br />BOULEVARD.
