HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION MINUTES 3 JANUARY 23, 2020 <br /> <br />Chair Christy opened the Public Hearing. The applicant spoke in support of the matter. <br />There were no other speakers and the Public Hearing was closed. <br /> <br />Commission inquired about the Haster Family History. Commissioner Schaefer proposed <br />to approve the matter with a friendly amendment to recognize the property as the Haster- <br />Dempsay House. RECOMMENDATIONS TO THE CITY COUNCIL REGARDING HISTORIC RESOURCES <br />POLICIES AND REGULATIONS <br /> <br />Executive Director Thai provided an overview of the draft memo and requested feedback <br />from the Commission. <br /> <br />After a brief review of the draft memo, the Commission offered the following suggestions <br />to Page 2 of the document: <br /> <br /> Add additional neighborhoods to the Historically Sensitive Neighborhoods list <br /> Under section B - add “demolition” <br /> Clarify the word “review” and “purview” <br /> <br />Commission discussed the need to carefully review the draft memo and agreed to provide <br />feedback via e-mail in the upcoming days.
