HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION MINUTES 6 OCTOBER 29, 2020 <br /> <br />Chair Christy disclosed that she spoke with the applicant on this matter. <br /> <br />Case Planner Gomez provided a staff presentation. <br /> <br />Recording Secretary reported that no written communication was received. <br /> <br />Chair Christy opened the Public Hearing. The applicant spoke in support of the matter. <br />There were no other speakers and the Public Hearing was closed. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />a) Adopt a resolution approving Historic Resources Commission Application No. 2020-02 <br />and Historic Register Categorization No. 2020-01; and <br /> <br />b) Recommend that the City Council authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the Council <br />to execute the attached Mills Act agreement with Paul E. Sanford and Jeffrey J. HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION APPLICATION NO. 2020-03, HISTORIC <br />REGISTER CATEGORIZATION NO. 2020-02, AND HISTORIC PROPERTY <br />PRESERVATION AGREEMENT NO. 2020-03 - Pedro Gomez, Case Planner <br /> <br />LOCATION: 2352 North Riverside Drive (historically known as the Barnhill-McDowell <br />House) located in the Single Family Residential (R-1) zoning district. <br /> <br />REQUEST: The applicant is requesting approval of a historic resources commission <br />application, historic register categorization, and historic property preservation agreement to <br />allow the placement and categorization in the Santa Ana Register of Historical Properties <br />as Contributive for the above-mentioned property and to execute a historic property <br />preservation agreement with the City of Santa Ana. <br /> <br />Case Planner Gomez provided a staff presentation. <br /> <br />Recording Secretary reported that no written communication was received. <br /> <br />Chair Christy opened the Public Hearing.
