One (1) <br />5aVJ°"0Z�' 6LJ�UU Certified Mail/FedE <br />THIS AMENDMENT TO SUBLEASE, made and entered into this 12'^ day of <br />January 2021, by and between City of Santa Ana, hereinafter called Sublessor, and the State of <br />California acting by and through the Director of the Department of General Services, hereinafter <br />called the State. <br />WITNESSETH: <br />WHEREAS, under lease dated May 7, 2019, the State hires from Sublessor certain <br />premises located at 801 W Civic Center Drive, Santa Ana as more particularly described in said <br />sublease; and <br />WHEREAS, the parties hereto desire to amend said sublease to (1) adjust the monthy <br />rent; (2) adjust the square footage of the subleased premises; (3) supersede the Exhibit A. <br />NOW THEREFORE, it is mutually agreed between the parties hereto as follows: <br />1. Effective July 1, 2020, the monthly rent payable in Paragraph 4 of said sublease is <br />modified to read: <br />TWENTY-THREE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED TWENTY-TWO AND 75/100 DOLLARS <br />($23,122.75) from July 1, 2020, through June 30, 2021; then <br />TWENTY-THREE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED SIXTEEN AND 43/100 DOLLARS <br />($23,816.43) from July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2022; then <br />TWENTY-FOUR THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED THIRTY AND 93/100 DOLLARS <br />($24,530.93) from July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2023; and thereafter. <br />2. Effective July 1, 2020, the net usable square feet subleased in Paragraph 1 of said <br />sublease is amended to read: <br />Approximately 9,548 net usable square feet of office space (consisting of 7,277 net <br />usable square feet of shared space as outlined in green on the attached Exhibit E, 1,142 <br />net usable square feet of exclusive space as outlined in red on the attached Exhibit E, <br />Page W 3 <br />(Rev-6/20) <br />
