THIS ENDORSEMENT CHANGES THE POLICY. PLEASE READ IT CAREFULLY. <br />THE <br />HARTFORD <br />FRAUDULENT TRANSFER COVERAGE <br />This endorsement modifies insurance provided under the following: <br />SPECIAL PROPERTY COVERAGE FORM <br />Except as otherwise stated in this endorsement, the terms and conditions of the Policy apply. <br />A. The following is added to Paragraph A.6., Coverage Extensions: <br />Fraudulent Transfer Coverage <br />(1) We will pay for loss of or damage to your "money", "securities" and "other property" following and directly <br />related to the use of any electronic, telegraphic, cable, teletype, telefacsimile or telephone instruction to <br />fraudulently cause a transfer of that property from the "scheduled premises", bank or savings institution to <br />a person (other than a "messenger") or place outside those premises. <br />(2) We will pay for loss of your "money" and "securities" resulting directly from a "fraudulent instruction" <br />directing a financial institution to transfer, pay or deliver "money" and "securities" from your "transfer <br />account". <br />(3) All loss: <br />(a) Caused by one or more persons; or <br />(b) Involving a single act or series of related acts; <br />is considered one occurrence. <br />(4) Limitation A.4.a.(2) and Exclusions 13.1.j.(3) and 13.2.1h. do not apply to this Coverage Extension. <br />(5) Under this Coverage Extension, we will not pay for: <br />(a) Loss or damage caused by or resulting from the use or purported use of credit, debit, charge, access, <br />convenience, identification, stored -value or other cards or the information contained on such cards. <br />(b) Loss, or that part of any loss, for which the proof of its existence or amount is dependent upon: <br />(i) An inventory computation; or <br />(ii) A profit or loss computation. <br />(6) The most we will pay for loss in any one occurrence under this Coverage Extension is the Limit of <br />Insurance shown in the Declarations for Fraudulent Transfer Coverage. <br />B. The following changes are made to Section G., PROPERTY DEFINITIONS: <br />1. The following definition is added: <br />"Fraudulent instruction" means: <br />a. An electronic, telegraphic, cable, teletype, telefacsimile or telephone instruction which purports to have been <br />transmitted by you, but which was in fact fraudulently transmitted by someone else without your knowledge or <br />consent; <br />b. A written instruction issued by you, which was forged or altered by someone other than you without your <br />knowledge or consent or which purports to have been issued by you, but was in fact fraudulently issued <br />without your knowledge or consent; or <br />c. An electronic, telegraphic, cable, teletype, telefacsimile, telephone or written instruction initially received by <br />you which purports to have been transmitted by an employee but which was in fact fraudulently transmitted by <br />someone else without your or the employee's knowledge or consent. <br />2.
