CNA CNA PARAMOUNT <br />First Party Glossary of Defined Terms <br />Newly Acquired Location <br />Newly acquired location means a fixed premises the Named Insured owns, leases, rents or controls. The premises <br />becomes a newly acquired location on the later of: <br />A. the date the Named Insured obtains possession or control of the premises; or <br />B. the date the real property, personal property, fine arts, records of accounts receivable or media for which <br />the Named Insured has an insurable interest is placed at the premises. <br />Newly acquired location does not include: <br />1. a location; <br />2. an unspecified location; <br />3. a reported unspecified location; <br />4. an installation location; or <br />5. a fair, trade show or exhibition. <br />Occurrence <br />Occurrence means one event or a series of related events that contribute concurrently to or contribute in any <br />sequence to physical loss of or damage to property. However, with respect to: <br />A. the equipment breakdown peril, occurrence means all equipment breakdowns that manifest themselves at the <br />same time and are the result of the same cause, regardless of the number of locations or reported unspecified <br />locations or other premises involved. <br />B. a named storm, occurrence means each named storm. If a named storm is downgraded to a tropical <br />depression, such tropical depression shall be considered a separate occurrence. <br />C. theft, occurrence means all loss sustained by the Named Insured caused by <br />1. any single act or series of related acts; <br />2. any act or acts involving one person, or a group of persons acting together; or <br />3. an act or event, or a series of related acts or events, not involving any identifiable person. <br />D. volcanic eruption, occurrence means all volcanic eruptions, explosions or effusions that occur within any 168 <br />hour period. <br />E. Employee Theft Coverage or Employee Theft of Client Property Coverage, occurrence means: <br />1. any single act; <br />2. the combined total of all separate acts whether or not related; or <br />3. a series of acts whether or not related, <br />committed by an employee, acting alone or in collusion with other persons, or any group of employees acting <br />together, even if in collusion with other persons, during the policy period, before the policy period or both, <br />subject to the Loss Sustained During Prior Policy Condition under the BUSINESS CRIME COVERAGE <br />CONDITIONS in the First Party Terms and Conditions. <br />F.
