CNA CNA PARAMOUNT <br />Business Property Coverage Part <br />3. The Adulteration or Contamination and the Temperature or Humidity Conditions Excluded Perils under <br />the EXCLUSIONS section do not apply, but only to the extent of the coverage provided under this <br />ADDITIONAL COVERAGE. <br />H. Expense to Reduce Loss — Business Income Coverage <br />The Insurer will pay reasonable and necessary expenses incurred by the Named Insured, except the cost of <br />extinguishing a fire, to reduce the amount of business income or research and development business income <br />loss. The Insurer will pay such expenses to the extent that they do not exceed the amount of loss that otherwise <br />would have been payable under the Business Income Coverage. <br />The amount the Insurer will pay for such expenses under this ADDITIONAL COVERAGE is included within the <br />applicable Business Income Coverage Limit of Insurance. <br />I. Extended Indemnity Period — Business Income Coverage <br />1. If loss of business income is payable under this Business Property Coverage Part, the Insurer will also <br />pay for the actual loss of business income the Named Insured sustains during the extended indemnity <br />period. <br />This extended indemnity period begins on the date the period of restoration ends and it terminates on the <br />earlier of: <br />a. the date the Named Insured's gross sales, including rental income, are restored to the amount that <br />would have existed if no direct physical loss or damage occurred; or <br />b. the date on which the specified number of days shown in the Business Property Schedule of <br />Coverages and Limits have elapsed after the end of the period of restoration. <br />2. The amount the Insurer will pay for loss of business income under this ADDITIONAL COVERAGE is <br />included within the applicable Business Income Coverage or Business Income and Extra Expense <br />Coverage Limit of Insurance. <br />3. This Extended Indemnity Period - Business Income Coverage does not apply to loss of business income <br />resulting from unfavorable business conditions as a result of the impact of a covered peril in the area of the <br />affected location or reported unspecified location. <br />4. This Extended Indemnity Period - Business Income Coverage does not apply to any other ADDITIONAL <br />0 <br />COVERAGE or the ADDITIONAL COVERAGE BASKET. <br />N <br />s J. Forgery or Alteration Coverage <br />N <br />1. The Insurer will pay for loss sustained by the Named Insured resulting from forgery or alteration of or on <br />N <br />covered instruments that are made or drawn by, or drawn upon: <br />a. the Named Insured; or <br />b. one acting as the Named Insured's agent, <br />or that are purported to have been so made or so drawn, by any person, acting alone or together with others. <br />Mechanically reproduced facsimile signatures are the same as handwritten signatures. <br />2. The most the Insurer will pay for all loss under this ADDITIONAL COVERAGE for anyone occurrence is the <br />Forgery or Alteration Coverage Limit of Insurance. <br />K. Fungi, Wet Rot, Dry Rot and Microbe Coverage — Property Damage and Time Element Combined <br />1.
