DNA <br />CNA Paramount Excess and Umbrella Liability <br />Policy <br />B. written or oral demand for damages alleging injury to which this insurance applies. <br />Coverage territory means: <br />A. the United States of America (including its territories and possessions), Puerto Rico and Canada; <br />B. international waters or airspace, but only if the injury or damage occurs in the course of travel or <br />transportation between any places included in paragraph A. above; or <br />C. all other parts of the world if the injury or damage arises out of: <br />1. goods or products made or sold by the Named Insured in the territory described in paragraph A. <br />above; <br />2. the activities of a natural person whose home is in the territory described in paragraph A. above, <br />but is away for a short time on the Named Insured's business; or <br />3. an offense that take place through the Internet or similar electronic means of communication, <br />provided that the Insured's responsibility to pay damages is determined in a suit on the merits, in the <br />territory described in paragraph A. above or in a settlement the Insurer agrees to. <br />Covered accident means a sudden and unexpected event, which solely and independently of any other cause <br />results in the key employee's death or permanent disability within one year after the date of the sudden event. <br />Crisis management event means an event that an executive officer reasonably believes has resulted or may <br />result in significant adverse regional or national media coverage and a claim for: <br />A. bodily injury, property damage or any of the following personal and advertising injury offenses: <br />1. false arrest, detention or imprisonment; <br />2. malicious prosecution or abuse of process; or <br />3. wrongful eviction from, wrongful entry into, or the invasion of the right of private occupancy of a <br />room, dwelling or premises that a person occupies committed by or on behalf of its owner, landlord <br />or lessor; and <br />B. damages to which this insurance applies, that are in excess of any applicable: <br />1. underlying limits; or <br />2. retained amount. <br />Crisis management expenses means crisis management public relations expenses and crisis management other <br />expenses provided however crisis management expenses do not include any of the following: <br />A. salary, wages, or benefits of the Named Insured or the Named Insured's employees; <br />B. loss of business income; <br />C. costs to acquire, repair or replace real or personal property; or <br />D. expense to hire a public adjuster or appraiser or any other claim adjustment expenses incurred by a <br />Named Insured. <br />Crisis management public relations expenses means reasonable and necessary expenses incurred in connection <br />with a crisis management event by the Named Insured: <br />A. to hire a crisis management firm; <br />B. to set up call centers or similar inquiry management system to manage inquiries from, or to directly <br />contact, individuals or entities that may be directly impacted by such crisis management event; <br />to create and deliver notification letters to contact individuals or entities that may be directly impacted <br />Form No: CNA75504XX (03-2015) P <br />Policy Page: 23 of 32 P <br />Underwriting Company: The Continental Insurance Company, 151 N Franklin St, Chicago, IL 60606 P <br />Copyright CNA All Rights Reserved. <br />�oRaN <br />Risk Mwag mendDiAsian <br />REVIEWED & APPROVED BY. - <br />Risk Management Analyst <br />
