THIS ENDORSEMENT CHANGES THE POLICY. PLEASE READ IT CAREFULLY. <br />THE <br />HARTFORD <br />(4) We will not pay for direct physical loss or direct physical damage in any one occurrence unless the <br />amount of direct physical loss or direct physical damage exceeds the Equipment Breakdown Deductible <br />stated in the Declarations. We will then pay the amount of the direct physical loss or direct physical <br />damage in excess of the Equipment Breakdown Deductible up to the applicable Limit of Insurance for <br />Covered Property. <br />B. The following changes are made to Section B., EXCLUSIONS: <br />1. Exclusion 13.2.a., Electrical Apparatus, is deleted. <br />2. Exclusion 13.2.d., Steam Apparatus, is deleted. <br />3. Paragraph (6) of Exclusion 13.2.e., Other Types of Loss, is deleted. <br />4. Paragraph 13.2.o., Electrical Disturbance, is deleted. <br />C. The following changes are made to Section G., PROPERTY DEFINITIONS: <br />1. The following definition is added: <br />"Equipment breakdown accident" means a fortuitous event that causes direct physical loss or direct physical <br />damage to "equipment breakdown property". The event must be one of the following: <br />a. Mechanical breakdown, including rupture or bursting caused by centrifugal force. <br />b. Artificially generated electrical, magnetic or electromagnetic energy, including electric arcing, that damages, <br />disturbs or otherwise interferes with any electrical or electronic wire, device, appliance or network. <br />c. Explosion of steam boilers, steam piping, steam engines or steam turbines owned or leased by you, or <br />operated under your control. <br />d. Physical loss or physical damage to steam boilers, steam pipes, steam engines or steam turbines <br />caused by or resulting from any condition or event inside such boilers or equipment. <br />e. Physical loss or physical damage to hot water boilers or other water heating equipment caused by or resulting <br />from any condition or event inside such boilers or equipment. <br />2. The following definition is added: <br />"Equipment breakdown property" means Covered Property which, during normal usage, operates under vacuum <br />or pressure, other than the weight of contents, or that generates, transmits or utilizes energy. <br />The following is not "equipment breakdown property": <br />a. Any structure, foundation, cabinet, compartment or air supported structure or building; <br />b. Any insulating or refractory material; <br />c. Any sewer piping, any underground vessels or piping, any piping forming a part of a sprinkler system, water <br />piping other than boiler feedwater piping, boiler condensate return piping, or water piping forming a part of a <br />refrigerating or air conditioning system; <br />d. Any dragline, excavation or construction equipment; <br />e. Any vehicle or any equipment mounted on a vehicle. As used here, vehicle means any machine or apparatus <br />that is used for transportation or moves under its own power. Vehicle includes, but is not limited to: car, truck, <br />bus, trailer, train, aircraft, watercraft, forklift, bulldozer, tractor or harvester. However, any property that is <br />stationary, permanently installed at a "scheduled premises" and that receives electrical power from an <br />external power source will not be considered a vehicle; or <br />f. Any equipment manufactured by you for sale. <br />3. The following definition is added: <br />"Hazardous substance" means any substance that is hazardous to health or has been declared to be hazardous <br />to heath by a governmental agency. <br />4. The following definition is added: <br />"Perishable goods" means personal property: <br />a. Maintained under controlled temperature or humidity conditions for preservation; and <br />b.
