SA SANTA A A BUSINESS COUNCIL, IN U- der The DTSA Bridal/ Ctuincearrera Association has been re -activated and is excited to share updates with you as well as request your support. The pandemic has devastated our businesses for nearly a year and we simply cannot continue to sustain our businesses unless we have a significant shift. We are seeking your support during this transformational pivot as we innovate our business approach and adapt tonew technology. The pandemic has taught us to be innovative and in response, we are planning several marketing campaigns that will shed positive light to the bridal and quinceaAera businesses in Downtown while preserving Covid safety protocols. The first marketing campaign is to host a VIRTUAL Bridal/Quince Fashion Show on Sunday, March 21, 2021 from 2pm-3p live -streamed through Facebook Live and later uploaded to Youtube. please note that live audience will not be invited or allowed during the virtual show, the location will not be announced. The only attendees will be the ten (10) business owners and their models, including Iran=_gender models from TransLatinx (nonprofit in DTSA). l'v#odeis will prepare inside the place of business and come out to the stage only for their 1-minute walk. The virtual show will display bridal dresses, quincean`era dresses, and suits, for a total of 45-60 minutes. Thereafter, the video recording could be converted into small commercials or videos for individual business use. This virtual fashion show will have a positive impact to our businesses and we kindly request your support. A small street closure is needed for the small stage for the models on 4"' Street between Broadway & Sycamore (1 block street closure). The set-up & tear down will take three hours total, but the street closure would be needed From 8am-5pm (to avoid cars from parking in the stalls). Your support is again kindly requested for the street closure and your support for this dire marketing opportunity. Simultaneously, the majority of the I ridal/ uinceanera businesses in DTSA are currently enrolled in a Webify training program hosted by the OC Small Business Development Center (SBDC) to develop an online presence, participate in e•commerce, and acclimate to online sales. e have been in DTSA for decades and we want to stay her for decades to follow. We are drying our part and we kindly request your support with the Virtual Bridal/(wince Fashion Show scheduled to occur March 21" from 2prn-3pm streamed through Facebook Live (no live audience).
