Program Description <br />The course CCNA I & II provides the fundamental networking knowledge to be successful in the Cisco certification <br />exam and career. The course prepares the student for the 200-301 CCNA certification exam. There is only one exam <br />that you need to pass to earn the new Cisco Certified Network Associate v2.0 certification. <br />This course CCNA: Security provides you with the knowledge needed to prevent security threats and hackers from <br />creating mayhem throughout your organization as you prepare for the 210-260 IINS, the one exam you need to pass <br />to earn the CCNA Security certification. <br />Course Objectives <br />The program will prepare students to take the certification exam 200-301 and 210-260 <br />Course Delivery Option: Classroom, Online/Distance Learning <br />Sequence and frequency of class sessions: Every 6 weeks <br />Related Job Titles/Occupations <br />Computer Network support specialist SOC Code 15-1231 <br />Computer Network Architects SOC Code 15-1241 <br />Network and Computer system Administrator SOC Code 15-1244 <br />Instruction Details <br />CCNA I & II: Students will be prepared to take the CCNA exam. This is the first step in achieving the CCNA <br />Routing and Switching certification. The exam tests a student's knowledge and skills required to successfully install, <br />operate, and troubleshoot a small branch office network. The exam includes topics on the Operation of IP Data <br />Networks; LAN Switching Technologies; IP Addressing (IPv4 & IPv6); IP Routing Technologies; IP Services <br />(DHCP, NAT, ACLs); Network Device Security; Basic Troubleshooting. The Cisco Certified security certification <br />validates associate -level knowledge and skills required to administer security network positions. <br />CCNA: Security: This course focuses on the necessity of a comprehensive security policy and how it affects the <br />posture of the network.
