Orozco, Norma
From:
Natalie Baltazar <ntiggal6@yahoo.com>
Sent:
Monday, March 15, 2021 3:49 PM
To:
eComment
Cc:
Phan, Thai; Penaloza, David; Lopez, Jessie; Bacerra, Phil; Mendoza, Nelida
Subject:
21-45843 ITEM#34 council member CM
I believe that the handball courts should not be rebuilt because there are many safety hazards with it. The only ones that
would use them were people that do not even live in the neighborhood which meant it brought outsiders. There would
also be homeless or drug addicts that would sleep there which made it unsafe to the neighbors around the park. I live
right behind them so we did have some people climb our walls to try to get their balls instead of going around to the
front and asking for them, we would even yell at them and they would start to fight with us. The handball courts not
being there gives children more security to play on the playground which using the area of where the courts were to
build a bigger playground so the park can actually look more like a park for family with children. Thank you for your time.
Natalie Baltazar
