jmf 1/31/21 <br />Resolution No. 2021-04 <br />Page 1 of 7 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2021-04 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING CONDITIONAL <br />USE PERMIT NO. 2021-02 AS CONDITIONED TO ALLOW <br />ON-PREMISES SALE AND CONSUMPTION OF <br />ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AT CAJUN CRAWFISH <br />RESTAURANT LOCATED AT 715 NORTH HARBOR <br />BOULEVARD, UNIT 106 <br /> <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds, <br />determines, and declares as follows: <br />A. Jamie Pham with TT Hospitality, representing Cajun Crawfish Restaurant <br />(“Applicant”) and Golden Star Management LTD (“Property Owner”), is <br />requesting approval of Conditional Use Permit (“CUP”) No. 2021-02 to <br />allow the sale of alcoholic beverages for on-premises consumption at an <br />existing restaurant located at 715 North Harbor Boulevard, Unit 106. <br />B. Santa Ana Municipal Code (“SAMC”) Section 41-196 requires approval of <br />a CUP for establishments wishing to sell alcohol for on-premises <br />consumption. <br />C. On February 22, 2021, the Planning Commission held a duly noticed <br />public hearing on CUP No. 2021-02. <br />D. The Planning Commission determines that the following findings, which <br />must be established in order to grant a CUP pursuant to SAMC Section <br />41-638, have been established for CUP No. 2021-02 to allow the sale of <br />alcoholic beverages for on-premises consumption at 715 North Harbor <br />Boulevard, Unit 106: <br />1. That the proposed use will provide a service or facility, which will <br />contribute to the general well being of the neighborhood or <br />community. <br />The sale of alcoholic beverages for on-premises <br />consumption at the subject location will provide an ancillary <br />service to the restaurant’s customers by allowing them the <br />ability to purchase alcoholic beverages with their meal. This <br />will thereby benefit the community by providing a restaurant <br />with an additional and complementary food related amenity. <br />Operational standards applicable to the alcoholic beverage <br />control (“ABC”) license and conditions of approval will <br />mitigate any potential impacts created by the use and will
