r..0 UN FILE N-2019-125-01 <br />,,ARANCEEEXPIRES <br />Ib 21 <br />vi COUNCIL <br />u <br />FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT <br />TO PROVIDE TRANSLATION SERVICES <br />1 THIS FIRST AMENDMENT to the above -referenced agreement is entered into on March 22, <br />2021, by and between MENTE, Inc., a California corporation doing business as Cesar <br />Vargas & Associates ("Consultant'), and the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal <br />corporation organized and existing under the Constitution and laws of the State of California <br />("City"). <br />RECITALS <br />A. The parties entered into Agreement No. N-2019-125, dated June 25, 2019, by which <br />Consultant agreed to provide translation services ("Agreement'). The term of the <br />Agreement continues through June 24, 2022, and is current and in effect. <br />B. The parties wish to amend the Agreement to increase the overall compensation for the <br />remainder of the term. <br />The Parties therefore agree: <br />1. Section 2.a., .Compensation, is amended to increase the total amount to be expended during <br />the term of the Agreement by $25,000, including any extension periods. <br />2.
