Employee Community Service Program In Q2 Bud and Bloom dba Farmacy Santa Ana will begin an Employee Community Service Program. This program will set aside a certain amount of community service hours per quarter to be split up between staff. Staff will have the option to choose to use these designated hours to participate in individual or group community service projects. The goal of the Employee Community Service Program is to benefit local organizations, build connections to our community, provide service, and to enrich and empower team members. Additionally, Bud and Bloom dba Farmacy Santa Ana strives to hire a minimum of 50 percent of staff locally. In the past, Bud and Bloom dba Farmacy Santa Ana has hosted local job fairs intending to hire Santa Ana residents. When opportunities are available and job fairs planned advertisements will be posted at the Grand Central Art Center, Santa Ana Work Center, Women Helping Women, Men2Work, the LGBT Center OC, and the 4th Street Market. Bud and Bloom dba Farmacy Santa Ana participates in a recycling program and sets aside all acceptable products to be donated to a local Veterans organization. All employees are required to separate waste into recycling bins and are encouraged to re -use and minimize waste. Waste is minimized by providing filtered water to discourage bottled water and cloud storage to minimize paper waste. Bud and Bloom dba Santa Ana has energy -efficient appliances and air conditioning installed, LED power -saving lighting, all power sources are connected to power strips, and the building is insulated for additional efficiency.
