The course uses a <br />community's vulnerability analysis and <br />evacuation plan. The course also addresses <br />evacuation behavior and recommends methods <br />to make evacuation and re-entry more <br />efficient. This course does not address the <br />decision to evacuate or re-enter. <br />G290/G291 Basic Public <br />The course is designed for people who work <br />$44,000 <br />Information Officer and Joint <br />with the media in times of crisis and day -to - <br />Information System/Joint <br />day media relations. The program emphasizes <br />Information Center <br />the importance of developing a Public <br />Information Officer (PIO) team, <br />communications skills, leadership and working <br />in a Joint Information Center (JIC) using Joint <br />Information Systems(JIS). <br />Hazardous Materials Assistant <br />This course concentrates on safe hazardous <br />$14,000 <br />Safety officer <br />materials incident operations are critical to <br />response and contaimnent. Students will begin <br />by assessing the incident as a "big picture" and <br />learn to maintain site safety and control. <br />Hazardous Materials Incident <br />This course provides the tools a person needs <br />$9,500 <br />Commander <br />to assume control of an emergency response to <br />a hazardous materials incident. Instructional <br />methods include class activities, case studies <br />and table top exercises with emphasis on <br />hands-on decision malting. <br />Hazardous Materials Incident <br />This course provides the tools a person needs <br />$12,500 <br />Commander - Pro Board <br />to assume control of an emergency response to <br />a hazardous materials incident. <br />Human Trafficking Seminar <br />This course provides a review of critical or <br />$18,000 <br />developing issues for law enforcement, <br />emergency management and victim service <br />personnel, in addition to updates on new <br />emerging tactics, techniques and protocols in <br />the fight against human trafficking. The object <br />of this refresher class is to update skills, gain <br />knowledge and to maintain competency as a <br />front-line combatant fighting modern day <br />slavery. <br />
