If the student does not earn 75 <br />percent as a final course grade, the student may not advance and will be <br />withdrawn from the program. Withdrawn students may apply for <br />readmission to repeat failed course(s) as they are offered again on a space - <br />available basis. <br />Respiratory Therapy Program <br />To pass any course in the Respiratory Therapy program, a student must earn <br />a minimum of 75 percent theory grade and a pass rating on all clinical and <br />laboratory objectives for that course. A student earning less than a 75 <br />percent on an examination must attend mandatory "practice and review" <br />sessions. If the student earns an overall grade of less than 75 percent, the <br />student will not be allowed to progress in the program and will be withdrawn <br />or set back on a space -available basis. Students are required to pass the final <br />written and practicum examinations to graduate the program. <br />Vocational Nursing/Nursing Program <br />Unless otherwise specified in the course descriptions, a grade of "C" (75 <br />percent) or better is considered passing for technical courses in the Nursing <br />or Practical/Vocational Nursing programs. Clinical/Lab Practice classes are <br />graded on a Pass/Fall basis. Students who fail one portion (clinical or <br />didactic) of a class will fail the entire class. <br />Any withdrawn student who chooses to reapply must meet the current <br />catalog readmission requirements for the program.
