requirements of the Academic Success Plan at the end of the payment period <br />will be dismissed. A student on FA Probation who achieves a minimum CGPA <br />and ROP by the next payment period will be removed from FA Probation and <br />placed back in good standing and retain eligibility for FSA funds. A student <br />who fails to make Satisfactory Academic Progress or fails to meet the <br />requirements of the Academic Success Plan after the FA Probation period will <br />lose eligibility for FSA funds. <br />Academic Success Plan <br />At the end of every grading and/or payment period in which a student does <br />not meet Satisfactory Academic Progress standards, campus academic staff <br />will assist the student in creating an Academic Success Plan. The Academic <br />Success Plan will outline, in detail, minimum academic performance <br />standards for the student for the upcoming term. The student must <br />acknowledge and meet the requirements of the Academic Success Plan to <br />remain enrolled in the program. <br />Satisfactory Academic Progress Appeals <br />A student may appeal dismissal from the program due to failure to meet SAP <br />and/or the loss of financial aid based on mitigating circumstances. <br />Written appeals must include: <br />• A clear statement about the mitigating circumstances that caused <br />the student to be unsuccessful and include appropriate <br />supporting documentation of such circumstances; <br />• An explanation of how such mitigating circumstances contributed <br />to the student's academic situation; <br />• An explanation about what has changed in the student's situation <br />that would allow the student to attain Satisfactory Academic <br />Progress at the next payment period; and <br />• An acknowledged and signed Academic Success Plan created with <br />the assistance of campus academic staff. <br />If the student does not submit an appeal within 72 hours of notification, or <br />the appeal is denied, the student will be academically dismissed. <br />Notice Concerning Transferability <br />of Credits and Credentials Earned <br />at Our Institution <br />The transferability of credits you earn at Concorde Career College is at the <br />complete discretion of an institution to which you may seek to transfer. <br />Acceptance of any certificate, diploma or degree you earn at Concorde is also <br />at the complete discretion of the institution to which you may seek to <br />transfer. If the credits or certificate, diploma, or degree that you earn at this <br />Institution are not accepted at the Institution to which you seek to transfer, <br />you maybe required to repeat some or all of your coursework at that <br />institution. For this reason, you should make certain that your attendance at <br />this Institution will meet your educational goals. This may Include contacting <br />an institution to which you may seek to transfer after attending Concorde <br />Career College to determine if your credits or certificate, diploma, or degree <br />will transfer. <br />institution. Students must submit a Request for Transfer Credit as soon as <br />possible after being enrolled at Concorde; in addition, students are <br />responsible for having official transcript(s) from their previous institution <br />forwarded to Concorde. To be eligible for transfer credit consideration, the <br />following must be met: <br />• An official copy of the student's transcript is on file with Concorde; <br />• Non -General Education courses were completed within the previous 12 <br />months, and a grade of "B" or better was earned; <br />• General Education courses were completed within the last five years, <br />and a grade of "B" or better was received; <br />• A copy of the catalog containing the course description, which the <br />student enrolled under, is provided; and <br />• CLEP courses may be accepted if completed within the five years and <br />have a minimum score of 60. <br />Students requesting to transfer credit(s) must submit all required <br />documentation no less than one week prior to the start of their program of <br />study. If the Academic Affairs department determines the credits are <br />acceptable for transfer, credit will be given for those courses, and the <br />student will be scheduled to take only those courses needed to fulfill the <br />requirements for graduation. <br />Under no circumstances does Concorde Career College grant academic credit <br />for life experience. <br />This section does not apply to students withdrawn from the same Concorde <br />campus regardless of withdrawal date. <br />Students who receive transfer credit will have the program tuition charge <br />prorated based upon the remaining number of credits the student must <br />earn in order to graduate. The Business Office will make the appropriate <br />tuition adjustment. <br />Concorde does not make any representation or guarantee that coursework <br />completed at another Institution will transfer to Concorde. <br />Students From Other Concorde Career <br />Institutes/Colleges <br />Students transferring from another Concorde Career Institute/College must <br />meet the entrance requirements in place at this school at the time of <br />transfer. These students may be eligible to receive credit for previous <br />courses provided that the following requirements are met: <br />• An official copy of the student's transcript is on file with Concorde <br />Career College; <br />• Courses within a major were completed within the previous 12 months, <br />and a grade of "C" or better was earned; <br />• General Education (nonscience) communications, mathematics, social <br />science or humanities courses were completed with a grade of "D" or <br />better: and <br />General Education science (BIOL, CHEM) courses were completed <br />within the previous ten years with a grade of "C" or better. <br />Transfer of Credit to Concorde Students transferring from another Concorde Career school may transfer up <br />Effective: 07/01/2020 to 75 percent of the academic credits necessary to fulfill the requirements <br />for graduation.
