Copwb)(TAI(YI q0V VS-)T'r TO PROVIDE SECURITY SERVICES <br />N-2021-085-01 <br />THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT is made and entered into this I I day of May, <br />2021, by and between Protection America, Inc., a California corporation ("Consultant"), and the <br />City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation organized and existing under the <br />Constitution and laws of the State of California ("City"). <br />RECITALS <br />A. City and Consultant entered into the Agreement with Protection America hic. to <br />Provide Security Services dated April 26, 2021, Agreement # N-2021-085, to <br />provide security services for The Link shelter ("said Agreement"). <br />B. In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Agreement, the Parties desire <br />to amend Section 2 — Compensation, to increase the maximum amount of <br />Compensation for said Agreement. <br />NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual and respective promises, and subject to the <br />terms and conditions of said Agreement, except as herein modified, the parties agree as follows: <br />1. Section 2, Compensation, shall be amended to increase the maximum amount of <br />compensation by four thousand five hundred dollars ($4,500.00) such that the <br />total sum to be expended under said Agreement shall not exceed nine thousand <br />five hundred dollars ($9,500.00) during the term of said Agreement. <br />2.
