Students are not allowed to clock in during orientation. Freshmen Class EnrollmentP[: off) The freshman curriculum for each of the courses requires a specific number of hours of classroom lectures, demonstrations, and student practice. (See Academic Programs starting on page 35.) The freshman class teaches you from the very beginning and introduces the basics for those areas that you will need to know to pass licensing examinations. From this initial introduction, you will learn all fundamentals that are the basics for your future and career. The hours spent in the freshman class are as follows: Cosmetology: 200 hrs. Barbering: 150 hrs. Esthetician: 80 hrs. M�aynicurist/Nail Technician: 50 hrs. Textbooks and Supplies (.0 HfA121 i 4a) Textbooks will be issued at the beginning of the freshman class. All needed supplies and equipment will be maintained in the freshman classroom. At the beginning of the freshman training, each student will be issued a complete set of supplies with a carrying case. The kit contains the tools and supplies necessary for satisfactory completion of the course. Students are expected to maintain the kit by replacing lost or broken articles. The college is not responsible for a student's kit, either lost or stolen.
