Library Services Department <br />Highlights Pivoted the Department's entire public program to offer <br />all libraryservices virtual) or through contact free <br />Y g <br />methods during COVID-19. This includes expanded <br />virtual e-book offerings, online assistance for veterans <br />and job seekers along with increased access to live <br />homework help via Zoom. <br />• The Newhope Library became a full service library with <br />expanded hours, new furniture, a media lab and a <br />variety of exterior improvements. <br />• Expanded the wireless hotspot lending program by <br />adding 200 additional devices in FY 20/21 to better serve <br />youth populations without internet access. <br />• Implemented the Career Online High School program <br />that now has 6 adult residents enrolled and on track to <br />earn a high school diploma by summer of 2022. <br />45 <br />
