We engage the City early to <br />develop proposed drainage and water quality concepts that accommodate roadway improvements <br />and correct any existing drainage deficiencies. <br />Utilities I Our team identifies potential conflicts in collaboration with the utility owner representatives <br />and the local agency and develop a comprehensive plan to ensure that all potential conflicts <br />Ct are verified. We understand the importance of accurate utility mapping, positive verification of <br />)�j utility conflicts through potholing, and developing conflict resolutions early in the design <br />Irpr process. We work side -by -side with the local agency and utility owner representatives, creating <br />exhibits as needed to highlight potential conflicts and resolutions for accurate designs that are <br />compatible with the proposed project improvements and construction sequencing. <br />SUBCONSULTANTS <br />Dokken Engineering has utilized many valuable sub -consultants to complete past projects and has <br />compiled an outstanding team for this project. The team has the capabilities to deliver all services <br />outlined in the RFP. FPL specializes in joint jurisdiction City of Los Angeles <br />projects with civil and traffic engineering needs. FPL has participated in <br />dozens of projects requiring the joint review and approval of BOE, LADOT, <br />BSL, BSS, LADWP, Cultural Affairs, Caltrans District 7, and/or the County <br />of Los Angeles. FPL is a certified (Underutilized) Disadvantaged Business <br />Enterprise (DBE) / Minority -owned Business Enterprise (MBE) / Small <br />Guida Surveying, Inc. (Guida) is a multi -disciplined land surveying firm that <br />has provided project -based and on -call geomatics services throughout <br />California since 1995. Guida has had a long history of providing skilled <br />surveyors, field crews, and office personnel who have significantly <br />contributed to this region's infrastructure growth, including a recent project <br />with Dokken for the City of Palm Desert. The firm offers a depth of available <br />staffing resources which can provide flexibility to accommodate working off <br />hours, variable days, and locations, if needed. Guida is a certified Small <br />Business Enterprise (Department of General Services) as well as certified <br />Woman Owned Business Enterprise (California Public Utilities <br />Commission). <br />NOVA Services, Inc. (NOVA) is a State of California Certified Disabled <br />Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE), State of California Small Business <br />(SB), Service -Disabled Veteran -Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), and <br />City of San Diego Small Local Business Enterprise (SLBE). The firm was <br />formed in 2008.
