For the Vocational Nursing program, the method used to determine the percentage of the period completed is determined <br />according to the following formula: Number of hours completed in the Pay-Period/Total Number of hours in the Pay — <br />Period = Percentage Completed <br />Scheduled breaks of at least five consecutive days are excluded from the total number of calendar days in the period <br />(denominator) and the number of calendar days completed in the period (numerator). The calendar days on an <br />approved leave of absence are also excluded from both the numerator and denominator in the calculation formula. <br />Percentages are rounded to the third decimal place. If a credit balance is due to the student and the student withdraws <br />from the institution, Advanced College will first complete the R2T4 calculation if the student received Title IV aid. <br />Advanced College will then complete the institutional, state, and accrediting agency refund calculations to determine <br />what is owed to the institution. Credit balances will be used first to pay the balance owed to Advanced College as <br />determined by the appropriate refund policy. <br />sizes vary, however, students are provided with the highest quality of education during their study at our school. <br />OFFICE HOURS <br />The school's office hours are from 8: oo a.m. to 6: oo p.m. on Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. <br />PROGRAM HOURS <br />Hours of programs differ per program. Please see a designated school official for program hours. <br />CREDITS TO CLOCK HOUR CONVERSION <br />Advanced College adopts the quarter unit system for all its credits, the breakdown as follows: <br />❖ 10 Hours of Classroom/Lecture <br />20 Hours of Laboratory Instruction <br />3o Hours of Work -Based Activities <br />RESPONSE TIME FOR DISTANCE EDUCATION STUDENTS <br />The institution ensures timeliness of its responses to students' requests by placing a requirement on response time of no <br />more than 24 hours within the institution's published operational schedule of the program/course. <br />DISTANCE EDUCATION STUDENTS ASSESSMENT <br />Distance education students are required to submit all work in a timely manner. Within 7 days of submission, the institution <br />is responsible for providing students with evaluation and feedback. <br />GRADING POLICY <br />The following grades are authorized for recording on the student's official academic record maintained in the office of the <br />Campus Director.
