This includes assisting in operations under the <br />supervision of surgeons, prepare and transport patients to <br />surgerv, and pass instruments and supplies to the sumeon, <br />PROGRAM OUTCOMES: <br />8 Demonstrate proper communication skills in the operating room through written and oral methods. <br />Adopt and apply critical thinking skills to determine necessary equipment for various surgical procedures. <br />Demonstrate the role of first scrub and circulator on all basic general and specialty surgical cases. <br />Demonstrate application of principles of asepsis to provide maximum patient safety in the operating room. <br />y Demonstrate concept of surgical conscience in all facets of the profession. <br />Demonstrate knowledge of global patient care by observing the surgical environment along with other members involved. <br />flnction or decimal but must not be inflated by rounding up.
