Exhibit 1 <br />LAR 3/2/21 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2021-XXX <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANAACCEPTING THE 2021NATIONAL FITNESS <br />CAMPAIGN GRANTOF $30,000 PER SITEAND <br />AGREEING TOENDEAVOR TOPROVIDE $109,065PER <br />EACH SITETOFUNDTHEREMAINING PURCHASE <br />PRICE OF THE EQUIPMENT AND INSTALLATION OF THE <br />FITNESS EQUIPMENT AT THREECITY PARKS <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1.The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds, determines <br />and declares as follows: <br />A.In 2021, the National Fitness Campaign offered grants to Cities or <br />Colleges to installan outdoor Fitness Court®,in public parks for use by <br />the publicat no cost. <br />B.The <br />an application for the 2021National Fitness Campaign grant fundsand <br />was selected as a recipient of the grantfor threeCity owned sites. <br />C.The 2021National Fitness Campaign grant is $30,000per site for a total <br />of $90,000for the three sites.The total cost for the purchase of the <br />outdoor Fitness Court® equipmentat threeCity parks(ThorntonPark, <br />Lillie King Park,and HeritagePark)is$139,065per sitefor a total of <br />$417,195.The $30,000 grant per site operates as a credit toward the total <br />purchasepriceof the Fitness Court®. The City will need to obtain funding <br />to complete the installation of the threeoutdoor Fitness Court®locations. <br />Section 2.The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby authorizesthe <br />City Manager or herdesignee, on terms acceptable to the City Attorney, to execute any <br />documents that are necessary to accept the2021National Fitness Campaign$30,000 <br />grant fundsper site (threesites total)for theoutdoor Fitness Court® equipment; <br />Section 3.The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby agrees to <br />endeavor tosecure funding for the remaining $109,065per site, for a total of $327,195, <br />to purchasethe outdoor Fitness Court®at threeCity sites; <br />Section 4.The City Council of the City of Santa Ana will endeavor to construct <br />and launch the outdoor Fitness Court® by the end of the 2020-2021fiscalyear, <br />contingent upon funding; and <br />Resolution No. 2019-XXX <br />Page 1of 2 <br /> <br />
