Integrating Access and This course focuses on developing plans that $17,000 <br />Functional Needs into integrate people with disabilities and others <br />Emergency Management with access and functional needs (AFN) into <br />(G197) response and recovery by specifically <br />addressing communication, sheltering, <br />evacuation and transportation concerns. <br />Local Volunteer and Donations The course is designed to strengthen the $14,000 <br />Management (G288) abilities of local jurisdictions to successfully <br />prepare for and handle volunteer and <br />donations management issues that may arise. <br />The course content and activities may also <br />serve as a template, thereby enhancing <br />uniformity to address donated unsolicited <br />goods, unaffiliated volunteers, and <br />undesignated cash. <br />Management of Spontaneous This course introduces the skills and planning $13,000 <br />Volunteers in Disasters (G489) considerations required to manage large <br />numbers of people who are not affiliated with <br />an experienced relief organization, but who <br />want to help in disasters. These helpers or <br />"spontaneous volunteers" are generally well <br />motivated and sincerely want to help., But if <br />their efforts and resources are not coordinated <br />effectively, they could be counterproductive, <br />wasteful, and often place a strain on the <br />disaster area. <br />Rapid Needs Assessment This course provides information and $17,000 <br />(G557) resources that will enable participants to plan <br />an effective Damage Assessment Program and <br />conduct rapid and effective damage <br />assessments in order to save lives, protect <br />property and the environment, and begin the <br />process of recovery and mitigation. This <br />course focuses on plans and procedures for <br />responding to the initial 4 hours of a disaster. <br />Content includes pre-event planning, <br />intelligence gathering and situational <br />awareness distribution. <br />SEMS Executive Management This course covers ICS/SEMS/NIMS for $13,000 <br />Course (includes ICS-402) executive staff including elements of ICS for <br />executives <br /> <br /> <br />
