additionally that May 51h is National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Native <br />Women and Girls. <br />Councilmember Lopez thanked Santa Ana Unified School Teachers, City Municipal Clerk <br />and her staff and Public Works Agency for their dedication. Announced that Mabury Park <br />would be having a dumpster day on Saturday May 8, 2021. <br />Councilmember Mendoza announced that the Orange County Office of the Aging is <br />requesting for proposals regarding elderly services. Thanked Councilmember Lopez for <br />her acknowledgment of Santa Ana Unified teachers and reminded everyone that May is <br />also National Bike Month. <br />Councilmember Phan announced that the hate crimes report is now live on the city's <br />website. Encouraged residents to visit the Southern California Edison website and <br />research cost saving measures and lastly, noted that it is mosquito season. <br />Mayor Pro Tem Penaloza wished all mother's a Happy Mother's Day. <br />Mayor Sarmiento wished all mother's a Happy Mother's Day, announced that the Arbor <br />Day Foundation named Santa Ana Tree City USA for the twenty second consecutive year. <br />Thanked the Public Works staff for the hard work they contribute to maintaining the city's <br />tree, and thanked Chief Valentin and staff for coordinated May Day march supporting <br />immigration reform. <br />ADJOURNMENT— Adjourn the City Council meeting and convene to the Housing Authority <br />meeting. <br />1.
