EXHIBIT 3 <br />a�ao,rc�r <br />nn nrcwniv <br />INCENTIVES POLICY <br />WIOA Program 2021 -2022 <br />PURPOSE: Project Kinship establishes this policy to provide guidance for issuing incentives to <br />participants who successfully commit, and complete goals established during <br />program participation. The goal is to aid enrolled youth with their successful <br />completlon�P-rojecf-Ki�hlp�lA!!-fl,�Nragraraa� ---- <br />PROCEDURES: <br />All incentives are based on the availability of funding and processed on a first <br />come first serve basis. <br />Eligibility: <br />Participants must be fully enrolled in the SAWIOA program. All referral and enrollment <br />documents must be completed and entered into the CaIJOBS system prior to any <br />incentives being issued. <br />Participant must be actively engaged in program activities agreed upon and meet or <br />appropriately communicate with the case manager at least two times a month. <br />The participant will receive an incentive in the form of a gift card in the amounts listed <br />in the chart below <br />SUMMARY OF INCENTIVES: <br />Milestone <br />Amount <br />Frequency <br />Employment Acquisition <br />$50 Gift Card <br />Gift card for acquiring employment <br />(minimum of 10 hours per week) <br />Employment Retention <br />$50 Gift Card <br />_ <br />Gift card for maintaining employment <br />90 days in follow-up <br />certification Acquisition <br />$100 Gift Card <br />Gift card for acquiring a nationally <br />recognized certification. <br />Completing Financial Literacy <br />$50 Gift Card <br />Gift card for successfully completing <br />Packet <br />Financial Literacy packet. <br />Open a Bank Account <br />$50 Gift Card <br />Gift card for opening a new Bank <br />Account. <br />Discharge Probation or Parole <br />$100 Gift Card <br />Gift card for successfully discharging <br />Probation or Parole. <br />City Council 16 — 270 7/6/2021 <br />
