2. FIRM AND PERSONNEL EXPERIENCE <br />Founded in 1967, Kimley-Horn has grown from a small group of <br />traffic engineers and transportation planners to a multi -disciplinary <br />firm of more than 4,300 employees in 92 offices nationwide. Not only do we currently provide on -call services to the City of Santa Ana, but we work with <br />the County of Orange, Caltrans, the Airport Land Use Commission, Orange County Transportation <br />Authority (OCTA), and many other California agencies through environmental, planning, transportation, <br />aviation, and general engineering on -call contracts. Since our founding, on -call clients have been a top <br />priority in which we aim to serve as an extension of their staff. Our staff is available to promptly address <br />the City's requests as they arise, and we can quickly mobilize a team to meet the needs of any project. <br />Our experience in preparing and reviewing CEQA and NEPA documents and technical reports, <br />coordinating environmental reviews, and our commitment to maintaining an effective working relationship <br />with City staff and other agency team members gives us a solid foundation for delivering documents that <br />will meet the high expectations of the City. <br />On -call contracts require a different approach from typical project -specific contracts. Each project <br />assigned under an on -call contract will need an individualized approach that includes the various <br />disciplines necessary to complete the assignment as efficiently and effectively as possible. One of many <br />advantages Kimley-Horn offers is our ability to assign the right staff to each project. Because we have <br />ample resources In our local offices, we can draw from a multitude of disciplines and specialists to <br />complete each assignment —whether the project is relatively straightforward, requiring only a few people <br />in a single discipline, or a complex project requiring numerous people and multiple disciplines. <br />PROVEN_APPROACH TO ON -CALL CONTRACTS <br />Our approach to on -call contracts is based on developing a team -oriented approach to the project review <br />process.
