APPENDIX I RESUMES <br />RAYMOND ROBLERO 1 PROJECT MANAGER <br />Mr. Raymond Roblero has more than 13 years of experience in the construction industry <br />and nearly a decade of experience as an Operations / QC Manager. He also has hands-on <br />experience as a field technician and deputy inspector. Ray is responsible for managing <br />the operations department and field personnel to provide quality customer service. His <br />duties include monitoring projects to ensure adequate inspection and testing personnel <br />are provided, materials are sampled as required for quantity, and provides oversight and <br />assurances of integrity of field personnel and quality control procedures. He also makes <br />on -site visits to guarantee the adherence to industry standards and proper operating <br />procedures by field personnel. <br />RELEVANT PROJECT INVOLVEMENT / EXPERIENCE <br />CITY OF LONG BEACH ON -CALL, LONG BEACH <br />Operations Manager/ProjectManager ) On -call contractwhich included providing deputy <br />inspectors, soils technicians and professional engineers. Ray managed budgets, and inspector <br />dispatch/assignments and was the main point of contact and liaison between the client and <br />laboratory staff for this contract. Addiitonally, he performed inspections as needed. <br />COUNTY OF LA CONSTRUCTION INSPECTION & RELATED SERVICES CONTRACT <br />AND THE COUNTY OF LA BUILDING INSPECTION CONTRACTS, LOS ANGELES <br />Operations Manager ) Mr. Roblero served as Operations Manager for the Construction <br />Inspection and Related Services contract and the County of LA Building Inspection contracts. He coordinated inspection activities <br />and ensured that any staff sent to a project site were properly certified and experienced to perform the inspections that have been <br />requested, and that they were properly equipped. He held regular training sessions to ensure that the staff members assigned to each <br />project were instructed and updated daily as to the specific project plans and specifications and any special reporting protocols and job <br />site safety requirements. <br />CARLSBAD DESALINATION PLANT, CARSLBAD <br />Project Manager/Operations Manager ) The Carlsbad desalination project in San Diego County, California US, is the largest desalination <br />plant in the western hemisphere. The $1 Billion project is the first large-scale desalination plant on the West Coast, privately financed and <br />developed by the Poseidon Resources Corporation (Poseidon). Ray managed budgets, and inspector dispatch/assignments and was the <br />main paint of contact and liaison between the client and laboratory staff for this contract. Addiitonally, he performed inspections as needed. <br />LAWA- ON -CALL CONTRACT, LOS ANGELES <br />Executive Operations Manager ) Mr. Roblero was in charge of overseeing the day-to-day operations and organization of this project. <br />His duties included assisting with the dispatch of inspectors to site locations, making site visits to ensure quality service was provided, <br />and overseeing in-house operations including conducting quality control concerning all payroll and billing. <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ON -CALL, SANTA ANA <br />Operations Manager ) Ray managed budgets, Inspectors, Main point of contact, liaison between the client and Laboratory staff, and <br />performed inspections as needed. <br />MTA ORANGE LINE EXTENSION, ORANGE <br />Project Manager/Operations Manager ) The extension project is one of the first Measure R-funded projects to begin construction. <br />The extension will begin at the Canoga Park terminus and end at the Chatsworth Metrolink/Amtrak Station. Four new stations will be <br />added along the way, including Sherman Way, Roscoe, Nordhoff and the Chatsworth Metrolink station. The extension project also features <br />landscaping, a new 207-space Park & Ride facility at the Sherman Way Station and a bike/pedestrian path adjacent to the busway. Ray <br />managed budgets, Inspectors, Main point of contact, liaison between the client and Laboratory staff, and performed inspections as needed. <br />SR-22 ASSESS IMPROVEMENTS, GARDON GROVE <br />Project Manager/Operations Manager ( The Garden Grove Freeway (SR-22) is an integral part of Southern California's freeway <br />network. To address specific freeway and local street congestion at Brookhurst Street, Euclid Street and Harbor Boulevard, interchanges <br />access improvements were included in Measure M2 (also known as OC Go). Utilizing savings from Measure M1(20-year half cent sales <br />tax for transportation improvements), these improvements were expedited and funded as part of a larger bonus project, the SR-22 <br />Improvement Project which added carpool lanes the entire length of the SR-22 freeway. Reconstructed three OC Go SR-22 freeway <br />interchanges at Euclid Street, Harbor Boulevard, and Brookhurst Street improving traffic flow on city streets. Reduced back-up on the <br />SR-22 freeway on- and off -ramps by adding additional ramp capacity that were needed and alleviating congestion at the interchanges. <br />Upgraded and modified signals and resurfaced the city street with improved striping and signage at the interchanges. Ray managed <br />budgets, inspector dispatch and assignments and was the main point of contact and liaison between the client and <br />Laboratory staff.
