APPENDIX I RESUMES <br />MARTA LANDAVERDE J LABORATORY SUPERVISOR <br />Ms. Marta Landaverde has nearly 30 years of applied experience. She is engaged <br />in concrete and asphalt paving operations throughout the construction cycle, from <br />initial project review for bid estimation to preparation of final reports and pay factor <br />calculations. Marta has directed the development of numerous hot mix asphalt job mix <br />formulas and assisted with the development of concrete mix designs. <br />Agencies overseeing projects Ms. Landaverde has worked on include: Caltrans, FHWA, <br />FAA, METRO, Expo, OCTA, DSA, USACE, as well as numerous other municipalities and <br />private organizations. <br />RELEVANT PROJECT INVOLVEMENT / EXPERIENCE <br />1-405 / SEPULVEDA PASS WIDENING PROJECT, LOS ANGELES <br />Laboratory Supervisor I Ms. Landaverde provided laboratory testing and supervision of technicians' tests of materials used for this <br />major transportation improvement project. Materials tested included structural steel, reinforcing steel, steel couplers, and hoops, <br />NACE inspection of coatings and all of the conventional roadway materials testing and structural inspections for concrete, aggregates, <br />soils, and asphalt concrete pavements. This project involved the construction of a high profile, $1.18 highway widening project that <br />included removal, replacement, and/or widening of over 20 bridges, installation of MSE retaining walls, realignment of 27 on- and <br />off -ramps, and widening of 13 existing underpasses and structures to reduce traffic congestion. The new Mulholland Bridge profile <br />was widened to be 82' wide and 608' long with placement of new columns in the new freeway lane (a HOV lane) that was built on <br />the northbound side of 1-405. <br />KRAMER AVENUE GRADE SEPARATION, PLACENTIA <br />Laboratory Supervisor I Ms. Landaverde provided laboratory testing and supervision of technicians' tests of materials used for this <br />major transportation improvement project. Materials tested included structural steel, reinforcing steel and all of the conventional <br />roadway materials testing and structural inspections for concrete, aggregates, soils, and asphalt concrete pavements. Project consists <br />of a one -million -pound structural steel underpass bridge for the BNSF rail line and lowering Kraemer Boulevard and Crowther Avenue <br />by approximately 25 feet. In order to house the underpass, 130,000 cubic yards of excavation and cast -in -place and secant pile <br />retaining walls using 4,000 cubic yards of structural concrete and 31,000 lineal feet of concrete piling. <br />METRO GOLD LINE PHASE 2A, FOOTHILL EXTENSION, PASADENA TO AZUSA <br />Laboratory Supervisor I Ms. Landaverde provided laboratory testing and supervision of technicians' tests of materials used for this <br />major transportation improvement project. Materials tested included structural steel, reinforcing steel and all of the conventional <br />roadway materials testing and structural inspections for concrete, aggregates, soils, and asphalt concrete pavements. This phase of <br />the Expo Line extends light rail service from Culver City to Santa Monica and includes seven new stations serving the extension. <br />PLACENTIA BOULEVARD GRADE SEPARATION, FULLERTON <br />Laboratory Supervisor I Ms. Landaverde provided laboratory testing and supervision of technicians' tests of materials used for this <br />major transportation improvement project. Materials tested included structural steel, reinforcing steel and all of the conventional <br />roadway materials testing and structural inspections for concrete, aggregates, soils, and asphalt concrete pavements. This project <br />constructed a vehicle underpass at the intersection of Placentia Avenue and the BNSF railroad. As part of the project, the roadway will <br />be lowered to separate car traffic from train traffic. RMA Group services include concrete and welding inspections of roadway, bridge, <br />pile construction, and tranch backfill observation. <br />CRENSHAW / LAX LRT, CRENSHAW <br />Laboratory Supervisor I Ms. Landaverde provided laboratory testing and supervision of technicians' tests of materials used for this <br />major transportation improvement project.
