Recommended Action: Approve a shelter budget for furnishings, fixtures and <br />equipment in an amount not to exceed $1,000,000, in one-time direct purchases with <br />various vendors, and approve for the purchasing department to utilize cooperative <br />contracts and employ other practical procurements methods to ensure the shelter is <br />fully equipped and furnished by the opening date, subject to non -substantive changes <br />approved by the City Manager and City Attorney. <br />23. Street Naming No. 2021-01 to Change the Name of a Segment of South Lyon Street <br />between East Edinger Avenue and East Saint Andrew Place within the PacifiCenter <br />Development to South Elk Lane <br />Department(s): Planning and Building Agency <br />Recommended Action: Affirm the Planning Commission's adoption of a resolution <br />approving Street Naming No. 2021-01 to change the name of a segment of South <br />Lyon Street between East Edinger Avenue and East Saint Andrew Place within the <br />PacifiCenter development to South Elk Lane. <br />**END OF CONSENT CALENDAR** <br />BUSINESS CALENDAR <br />24. Approve an Agreement with All City Management Services, Inc. for the School <br />Crossing Guard Program for Either up to a Two-year Term in an Amount Not to <br />Exceed $2,593,334, or up to a Five -Year Term in an Amount Not to Exceed <br />$6,869,996 (General Fund) <br />Department(s): Public Works Agency <br />Recommended Action: Approve one of the two options below (Agreement No. <br />2021-XXX): <br />Option 1: Authorize the City Manager to execute an agreement with All City <br />Management Services, Inc. to provide a School Crossing Guard Program, in the <br />amount of $2,357,576 with a 10 percent contingency of $235,758, for a total amount <br />not to exceed $2,593,334 for a one-year term beginning July 20, 2021 and expiring <br />July 19, 2022, with an option for a one-year extension, subject to non -substantive <br />changes approved by the City Manager and City Attorney. <br />Option 2: Authorize the City Manager to execute an agreement with All City <br />Management Services, Inc. to provide a School Crossing Guard Program, in the <br />amount of $6,245,451 with a 10 percent contingency of $624,545, for a total amount <br />not to exceed $6,869,996 for a one-year term beginning July 20, 2021 and expiring <br />July 19, 2022, with options for four, one-year extensions, subject to non -substantive <br />changes approved by the City Manager and City Attorney. <br />City Council 12 7/20/2021 <br />
