0 <br />buntich <br />the emergency does not warrant a lump sum proposal or the scope of work cannot be ascertained, we will then <br />proceed under the City's direction on a Time and Material basis using the agreed upon rates. We will then notify <br />the local residents and business of our start of work with an estimated completion. Access to local driveways <br />and businesses will be our top priority and maintained to the best of our ability. Traffic control or plating over <br />excavations to maintain safe access and keep community relations strong. At the end of each day a time and <br />materials ticket will be completed and sent into the City for approval. In addition to this ticket a detailed work <br />plan will be provided for each following day so that the city is aware of the progress of the work. This process <br />will continue until each project has been completed. At the completion of the work each project area will be <br />restored at a minimum to pre -working conditions or better, if requested by the City. <br />e. Relevant Project Experience <br />Mladen Buntich Construction Co., Inc. possess a Class A license and has an extensive history of working on <br />emergency construction repair projects. MBC has been a qualified Contactor selected for the City of Los <br />Angeles' emergency on -call lists since 2007. Whereas the failure of sewers and/or storm drains can jeopardize <br />public health and safety; and whereas, certain emergency repair work beyond the capability of the City's <br />maintenance forces, the City Board has authorized MBC to perform expeditious emergency repairs. Under this <br />contract, MBC has been selected to perform work on over 200 sewer and/or storm drain repair projects ranging <br />from $1,000 to $4M. Damaged utilities have been successfully repaired by open cut, sliplining, and CIPP lining <br />methods. MBC has a proven track record of responding to such emergencies in an urgent manner while making <br />the necessary repairs to ensure public health and safety.
