AANCE U!v r.. <br />M"AY i .,, <br />UNTIE INF„ . .... ..lLS <br />CLERK OF COUNCIL <br />DATEe <br />JUL 2 7 2021 <br />A-2021-139 <br />FIRST AMENDMENT TO LIMITED LEGAL SERVICES AGREEMENT <br />�(!. .�TH ATKINSON, ANDELSON, LOYA, RUUD & ROMO APC <br />�: VI�(darnvl Mutsick <br />THIS FIRST AMENDMENT to the above -referenced agreement is entered into on July 20, <br />2021, by and between Atkinson;-Andelson;-Loya, Rudd &.Romo, a -California Professional Law <br />Corporation ("Attorneys"), and the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation <br />organized and existing under the Constitution and laws of the State of California ("City"). <br />RECITALS <br />A. The parties entered into Agreement No. N-2021-066, dated April 15, 2021, by which <br />Attorneys agreed to provide limited legal services conducting personnel investigations <br />("Agreement'). <br />B. The parties wish to amend the Agreement to add additional compensation to cover additional <br />services under this Agreement. <br />The Parties therefore agree: <br />1. Section 2a, Fees, is amended to increase the total agreement not to exceed amount from fifty <br />thousand dollars and no cents ($50,000.00) to one hundred thousand dollars and no cents <br />($100,000.00); and <br />2.
