OC CHILDREN'S <br />f <br />L THERAPEUTIC ARTS <br />2215 N Broadway • Santa Ana, CA 92706 • 714.547.5468 • Fax 714.564.9690 • www.occtac.org <br />Worksite Review: <br />Worksite review will occur during their WEX training. Worksite will be <br />monitored for compliance of worksite agreement and safety <br />standards. The purpose will be to ensure that WEX youth is receiving <br />quality training while working in a safe and comfortable <br />environment. <br />OCCTAC staff member is to visit the worksite before training begins <br />to meet with the WEX youth's supervisor and monitor the worksite. <br />Staff is to do one visit halfway through training. <br />If corrective action is required, worksite supervisor will be informed <br />by OCCTAC staff of any inconsistencies in the worksites operations. A <br />follow-up visit will be made within three to five working days after <br />the findings have been identified, to review corrective action taken <br />by worksite. <br />Allowable Expenditures: <br />WEX funds may be used to pay participant's wages and related <br />benefits for work experience in the public, private, for -profit or non- <br />profit sectors when the participant's objective assessment and <br />individual service strategy indicate that work experience is <br />appropriate. <br />Allowable expenditures beyond wages may include the following: <br />• Classroom training or the required academic education <br />component directly related to the work experience. <br />• Professional development training related to work experience. <br />• Orientation sessions for WEX youth and employers. <br />• Tutoring with OCCTAC tutor in order to improve skills or meet <br />ISS Goals. <br />• Meeting with supervisors or employers outside of scheduled <br />work hours for planning, training, or evaluating progress. <br />4 <br />Revised: 05/07/2021 <br />
