They not only have provided dependable service to
our community over the years but have provided large roll -off dumpsters for our neighborhood
through the city sponsored "Dumpster Day" where 7 large roll -off dumpsters are provided
throughout Washington Square for residents to dispose of items too large to fit in weekly trash
containers. They also provide for large item pick-up disposal, as well as toxic motor oil pick-up,
throughout the year on special requests.
Here in Washington Square Waste Management pioneered with our association with public
trash containers the neighborhood purchased and installed at heavily traveled streets by
servicing them on a weekly basis. This program has proved to be an enormous help in curtailing
litter which is generated by students from two local schools and Santa Ana College traversing
Washington Ave. on their way to and from school, as well as the general pedestrian traffic.
Waste Management over the years have attended many of our WSNA General Meetings
educating residents not only of their services, but on recycling, which has always been a big
interest to our residents.
Thus, with Waste Management's past performance and involvement in the city and
neighborhoods, we encourage you to retain Waste Management as our primary refuse hauler.
On behalf of the residents Washington Square Neighborhood Association
Sincerely,
Tom Lutz
WSNA — City Liaison
US POSTAGE
FIRST-CLASS
062S0008934043
92705
m
