Graduate Admissions Requirements <br />The admissions requirements below have been established for applicants to all graduate academic <br />programs at Pacific College, there may be additional admissions requirements specified by the academic <br />program. <br />A graduate applicant: <br />1. Shall participate in the enrollment process with an Admissions Advisor, <br />2. Submit a complete application for admission, <br />3. Shall submit an official academic transcript to the Registrar's Office showing a conferred <br />baccalaureate degree from a regionally -accredited college or university, and a cumulative GPA of <br />3.0 or greater. <br />4. Shall meet program -specific entrance requirements as noted for a particular program of study. <br />5. Complete an enrollment agreement and pay any fees due at time of enrollment. <br />International Admissions Requirements <br />Pacific College is authorized to enroll non-immigrant alien students under the Student and Exchange <br />Visitor Program (SEVP) and to issue "Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant Student Status (Form I- <br />20)" enabling students to enter the United States with a student visa (F-1). Every effort is made by the <br />Pacific College faculty and staff to help students adjust to academic life in the United States, particularly if <br />English is not the student's first language. <br />The application and financial statement required of international students must be submitted on forms <br />available from the Admissions Office or on the website. <br />Process overview for International Applicants: <br />• Submit proof of identity, <br />• Prove English Language Proficiency, <br />• Provide evidence of financial support. All financial documents must be originals in English and U.S. <br />dollars (e.g. current bank statements), <br />• Administrative Processing Fee (non-refundable; only for overseas Applicants): US$100. <br />Pacific College will not issue a Certificate of Eligibility (Form I-20) until the student has been admitted <br />and has been financially certified by the College. The Admissions Office will issue letters of acceptance to <br />successful applicants who have completed satisfactorily all requirements. Form I-20 will be sent to <br />international students. <br />Students must report to school within seven (7) days after arriving in the United States or the I-20 will be <br />void. A student wishing to transfer at the end of a semester must apply during that semester to allow <br />enough processing time with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). <br />Evaluation of International Transcripts <br />An applicant must submit original diplomas and transcripts with certified translation into English to an <br />independent transcript evaluation service that is a member of either the National Association of <br />Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) OR the Association of International Credential Evaluators (AICE) <br />A list of the agencies and instructions for submissions can be obtained from an admissions officer. All <br />transcripts from countries outside of the USA must be verified and evaluated indicating that the <br />coursework is comparable to United States educational standards. <br />All applicants whose education credits were completed outside the U.S.A. cannot receive full acceptance <br />until an evaluation of their transcripts has been completed. The foreign degree verification process must <br />be completed before the end of a student's first term at Pacific College.
