WIOA Performance Indicators (3 pages max) <br />A. Include a flow chart or visual aid or brief explanation of how your organization will <br />meet the following WIOA Performance Indicators: <br />The proposed program will follow the performance indicators percentages specified in <br />the Request for Proposal in each of the following area. <br />Percent of participants who are in education ortraining or unsubsidized employment <br />during the 2nd quarter after exit. <br />Of the 20 participants that will be enrolled in the program, 66% will be in education or <br />training or unsubsidized employment during the 2n, Quarter after exit. This equates to a <br />minimum of 14 participants. <br />2. Percent of participants who are in education or training or u nsubsidized employment <br />during the 4th quarter after exit. <br />Of the 14 participants meeting Performance Indicator #1, 64%will remain in education <br />or training or unsubsidized employment during the 4m Quarter after exit. This would equate to <br />a minimum of 9 participants meeting Performance Indicator #2. <br />3. Document the median earnings of participants in unsubsidized employment during the 2nd <br />quarter after exit. <br />The proposed program will utilize the current California Minimum Wage of $12 per hour <br />as the baseline for Performance Indicator #3. During the 2nd Quarter after exit, 50% of the <br />participants who are in unsubsidized employment will be earning above minimum wage. <br />4. Percent of participants who obtain recognized postsecondary credential orsecondary <br />diploma during participation or within 1 year after exit. <br />During participation and within one year after exit, 54% of participants will obtain a <br />recognized postsecondary credential or secondary diploma. With a total of 20 participants <br />enrolled in the program, 54% would equate to a minimum of 11 participants. In addition to a <br />high school diploma, participants will be able to earn a Customer Service and Sales Certificate; <br />Guard Card; Forklift Certificate; or Silk Screening Certificateto meet Performance Indicator#4. <br />5. Percent of participants who, during the program, are in education or training that leads to a <br />recognized postsecondary credential or employment AND who are achieving measurable skills <br />gains. <br />Of the participants who are in education or training during the program, 85% will <br />achieve measurable skills gains. Skills gains will be measured utilizing theTABE assessment. All <br />participants will complete the TABE assessment prior to enrollment and must score at or below <br />the 8.9level. This will be considered the baseline or Pre -Assessment score. Duringthe program, <br />participants will retake the TABE for a Post -Assessment score. Performance Indicator #5 will <br />show that 85%, or a minimum of 17 participants, will have a minimum of one -functioning -level <br />improvement with comparing Pre-: and Post -Assessment TABE scores. <br />
