Proposal to provide <br />Landscape Architectural Design for Standard -McFadden Park — RFP No. 21-055 <br />Task 8.9 - Skate Park Plans <br />The skate park plans will be prepared by Spohn <br />Ranch. Services include attendance at the kick off <br />meeting and site walk, information gathering, design <br />development, the preparation of a 3D rendering, and <br />construction documents that include layout plan, steel <br />plan, jointing plans, grading and drainage, sections, <br />details and specifications. <br />Deliverables: Skate park plans as described above. <br />Task 8.10 - Planting Plans <br />Plans will include a plant legend indicating trees, <br />shrubs, and ground covers in addition to information <br />regarding the placement of materials such as <br />decomposed granite, mulch and boulders. The <br />legend will indicate the botanical and common <br />names, quantity, size, and remarks (such as variety <br />and staking procedure). The plans will provide an <br />appropriate palette utilizing sustainable landscape <br />materials including California -friendly, drought tolerant <br />plants. <br />Deliverables: 1" = 20' planting plan and details <br />Task 8.11 - Irrigation Plans <br />The irrigation plans will provide the necessary <br />information for a complete and fully automatic <br />irrigation system for the .65 acre park. The plans will <br />indicate the point of connection based upon agency <br />requirements, backflow prevention and pressure <br />regulation (as necessary), and equipment size and <br />type in the irrigation legend. "Smart" Water Application <br />Technologies (SWAT) will be utilized. Flow monitors, <br />moisture sensors, and ET based controllers will <br />be implemented. We also anticipate providing the <br />following information: <br />■ Prepare water usage calculations (MAWA and <br />ETWU) <br />in Provide water efficient landscape worksheet and <br />hydrozone table for each remote control valve. <br />Skatepark at Mariposa Park <br />Decorative Fencing around Skatepark at Bryce Hanes Park <br />■ Obtain horticultural soils report (Agronomic data) <br />based on soil samples obtained from site. <br />■ Provide irrigation run time schedule based on soil <br />type. <br />■ Rain and wind sensors will be added in addition to <br />WUCOLS water use classifications <br />Deliverables: 1" = 20' irrigation plans and details. <br />(Recycled water is not anticipated). <br />Task 8.12 — Electrical Plans <br />Design West Electrical Engineers will provide <br />lighting for entry walkways, the basketball court, <br />shade structure and parking lot. Power design for <br />the irrigation controller is included in addition to the <br />design and coordination of the new electrical pedestal <br />with the local utility company. Plans will also highlight <br />the location of panels, switchgear, and meters. <br />Schedules, details, notes and a photometric analysis <br />will be provided. <br />Deliverables: Electrical engineering plans, details <br />and specifications as noted above. <br />Task 8.13 - Construction Details <br />DEA will prepare construction details for hardscape <br />elements, pedestrian bridges, footings, site <br />furnishings (if necessary), planting and irrigation <br />components. In most instances, footing details and <br />calculations (if necessary) for pre -fabricated items <br />such as shade canopies and play equipment will be <br />provided by the manufacturer. <br />Deliverables: Construction details as noted above. <br />Task 8.14 - Technical Specifications <br />DEA will prepare technical specifications for each <br />of the components in 'Green Book' format.
