Box 1988 Santa Ana, California 92702 www.santa-ana.org/pba NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE SANTA ANA PLANNING COMMISSION Planning Commission Action: The Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing to receive public testimony, and will take action on the item described below. Decision on this matter will be final unless appealed within 10 calendar days of the decision by any interested party or group. Project Location: 1935 East Seventeenth Street, Unit A-2 located in the Arterial Commercial (C5) zoning district. Project Applicant: Jesus Rodriguez with El Yaqui Tacos y Mariscos Restaurant. Proposed Project: The applicant is requesting approval of Conditional Use Permit No. 2021-03 to allow a Type 41 Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) license for the sale of beer of wine for on-premises consumption at an existing restaurant. Environmental Impact: The Planning Commission will consider a determination that the project is categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15301 of the CEQA Guidelines – Class 1/Existing Facilities. Notice of Exemption, Environmental Review No. 2021-20 will be filed for this project. Meeting Details: This matter will be heard on Monday, March 22, 2021 at 5:30 p.m. In light of COVD- 19, this meeting will be conducted in a virtual environment.
