COMMISSION MEMBER COMMENTS <br /> <br />Commissioners thanked staff for their efforts. <br /> <br />Commissioner Murashie <br />• Announced that the Floral Park Home Tour will be held on April 27-28. <br /> <br />Vice Chair Schaeffer <br />• Announced that the Floral Park Garden Tour will be held on May 11. <br /> <br />Commissioner Rush (comments read by Chair Christy) <br />• Inquired about the Joe Musil planters on 4th Street that are set to be demolished. <br />o Staff responded they are aware. <br />• Inquired about the Carpenters Gothic Home located at 718 S. Broadway. <br />o Staff responded that it is currently under construction <br />• Inquired about the current process in place to protect historic trees. <br /> <br />Chair Christy <br />• Congratulated Commissioner Contreras-Leo and Hardy for being elected to the <br />Historic Preservation Awards Ad Hoc Committee. <br />• Announced that a meeting on Human Trafficking will be held on April 11 at the John <br />Adams Library (flyer distributed). <br /> <br /> <br />ADJOURNED 7:35 P.M. – The next regular meeting of the Historic Resources Commission <br />scheduled for Thursday, July 4, 2019 is cancelled.
