Orozco, Norma
From:Carl Benninger <benninger72@gmail.com>
Sent:Monday, October 04, 2021 10:55 PM
To:eComment
Subject:Comment on Item 24 Redistricting
I realize there are not yet proposed redistricting maps. But the city has
hired a consultant to propose new boundaries for our wards in the city. I
would strongly suggest the consultants consider the continuity in
neighbors that have developed in parts of the city.

Like in the south part of the city. Neighborhoods like Metro Classic,
Republic Homes, Thornton Park, Morning Sun Rise and South Coast have
regular meetings to work on similar problems. Similar neighborhoods in
the Mid city and Northern parts of the city have also joined together.

When redrawing the wards the united form by the Neighborhoods should
be considered and not ignored.

Carl Benninger
President Of Com-link
1829 W. Garry, Santa Ana, Ca 92704
1
