1.86 Universal Waste <br />"Universal Waste" or "u-waste' means any of the following waste that are <br />conditionally exempt from classification as hazardous wastes pursuant to Title 22 of the <br />California Code of Regulations (22 CCR), § 66261.9: (i) batteries as described in 22 CCR <br />§ 66273.2; (ii) thermostats as described in 22 CCR § 66273.4; (iii) lamps as described in <br />22 CCR § 66273.5; and (iv) cathode tube materials as described in 22 CCR § 66273.6; (v) <br />Electronic Waste or e-waste as defined in Section 1.34. <br />1.87 Waste Generator <br />"Waste Generator" means any Person as defined by the Public Resources Code, whose <br />act or process produced Solid Waste as defined in the Public Resources Code, or whose <br />act first causes Solid Waste to become subject to regulation. <br />1.88 Yard Waste <br />"Yard Waste" means leaves, grass clippings, brush, branches, and other forms of <br />Organic Materials generated from landscapes or gardens, which have been Source <br />Separated from other Solid Waste.
