and Customers to meet or exceed the requirements of SB 1383 as of the start of <br />Collection services under this Agreement. <br />Contractor shall tailor the appropriate program to accommodate the waste generation <br />and space constraints of each Customer. Contractor shall offer Organic Materials Carts <br />and Bins based on the Customers needs and space limitations for Container placement. <br />4.3.6.1 Site Visits, Education and Outreach - Commercial and Multi -Family <br />Organics Recycling <br />Contractor will promote Commercial and Multi -Family Organics Collection programs <br />and assist the City in providing reports on Customers' Organics Collection efforts. <br />Contractor shall conduct the planned tasks, and procedures contained in Exhibit 7 "AB <br />341, AB 1826, and SB 1383 Implementation Plan," based on the schedule included in <br />Exhibit 7. <br />Upon execution of this Agreement, and each my 1 annually thereafter, a Contractor <br />representative will contact, via in -person meetings, all Multi -Family and Commercial <br />Customers not subscribing to the Organic Materials Collection service required under <br />applicable CalRecycle requirements. The Contractor representative shall assist <br />customers with selecting appropriate Containers and Container sizing, identifying <br />acceptable Organic Materials for Collection and processing, and attempting to resolve <br />any logistical detriments to providing Organic Materials Collection service. Contractor <br />shall provide a written proposal to each non -compliant Commercial and Multi -family <br />Customer that meets the thresholds of AB 1826 and/or SB 1383 annually. The proposal <br />shall provide pricing for implementing Organics Recycling service and reducing, or <br />`right -sizing', Collection service to account for materials diverted through the <br />Contractor -provided Recycling program; a proposed start date for the implementation <br />of new Organics Recycling services; a description of the requirements of AB 1826/SB <br />1383 and any relevant City ordinances; a plan for training staff and/or residents; and <br />any other components as directed by the City. A proposal template shall be approved <br />by the City prior to contract initiation. Electronic copies of all service proposals from <br />site visits that have been submitted to a Customer shall be provided to the City in an <br />electronic storage format acceptable to the City, such as a cloud -based file sharing <br />system that can be accessed by the City or its representatives. <br />August 17, 2021 51 City of Santa Ana <br />
