Applications for Special Fees under the <br />Discretion categories must be <br />time zone, Friday, October 29, 2021. All applications must be sent to <br />2021SpecialFees@hud.gov.ThesubjectlineoftheemailshouldincludethePHA <br />Number and the specific Special Fee category of applications, for example, <br />clarification of items provided with the application. Clarifications or corrections <br />mustbereceivedby HUDwithinthetimeframe specifiedin thenotification. <br />The following information must be included for each category the PHA applies <br />tobeconsideredforfunding undereach requestedcategory: <br />The application page that identifies the categories for application that <br />iscertifiedbysignature(formatAppendix Ctothis document); <br />A letter signed by the appropriate PHA official, clearly indicating the <br />amountbeingrequested, thecalculationusedtodeterminetheamountof <br />the request, and the estimated UNP (Administrative fee reserve) balance <br />asoftheday oftherequest; <br />Astatementdescribinganactivitythatisbeingproposed,underwayorhas <br />beencompleted; <br />Adescriptionofthelocalneedthattheactivitywillserve; <br />Dataonthenumberoffamiliesthattheactivitywill help; <br />How the activity will lead to an increase in leasing success rates and/or <br />reduceprocessing time; <br />Documentation to support the cost of the activity; the supporting <br />documentationcouldbeaninvoice/receipt,jobposting,anestimatebased <br /> <br />
