rather shall be deemed to be Commercial Premises: assisted living facilities, <br />convalescent homes, dormitories, extended stay motels, group residential facilities, <br />group care facilities, hotels, inotels, and any other businesses not specifically listed at <br />which residency is transient in nature and hence should be classified as Commercial <br />Premises as determined by City on a case by case bases. <br />1.71 Roll -off Box <br />"Roll -off Box" means Solid Waste Collection Containers of 10-yards or larger. <br />1.72 SB 1383 <br />"SB 1383" means Senate Bill 1383 of 2016 approved by the Governor on September 19, <br />2016, which added Sections 39730.5, 39730.6, 39730.7, and 39730.8 to the Health and <br />Safety Code, and added Chapter 13.1 (commencing with Section 42652) to Part 3 of <br />Division 30 of the Public Resources Code, establishing methane emissions reduction <br />targets in a Statewide effort to reduce emissions of short-lived climate pollutants as <br />amended, supplemented, superseded, and replaced from time to time. For the purposes <br />of this Agreement, SB 1383 specifically includes the Short -Lived Climate Pollutants <br />(SLCP): Organic Waste Reductions regulations developed by CalRecycle and adopted in <br />November 2020 that created Chapter 12 of 14 CCR, Division 7 and amended portions of <br />regulations of 14 CCR and 27 CCR. <br />1.73 Self -Hauler <br />"Self -Hauler" or "Self -Haul" means a Person who hauls Discarded Materials, recovered <br />material, or any other material, to another Person, or as otherwise defined in 14 CCR <br />Section 18982(a)(66). Self -Hauler also includes a Person who Back -Hauls waste, as <br />defined in 14 CCR Section 18982(a)(66)(A). <br />1.74 Sharps <br />"Sharps" means hypodermic needles, pen needles, intravenous needles, lancets, and <br />other devices that are used to penetrate the skin for the delivery of medications. <br />1.75 Solid Waste <br />"Solid Waste" means all Solid Wastes generated by Residential, Commercial, and <br />industrial sources, including Refuse, Recyclable Materials and Organic Materials, and <br />August 17, 2021 20 City of Santa Ana <br />
