Collection in Carts causes health and safety or other concerns, City shall make the final <br />determination as to whether Collection in Carts may occur. Multi -Family Premises with <br />a Homeowners' Association may request Cart service upon approval by the Executive <br />Director, and shall be charged the Residential Curbside Service Unit rates included in <br />the approved rate schedule. Commercial and Multi -Family Premises Customers that <br />receive Refuse Carts, shall also receive a Recycling Cart at no additional charge. <br />4.3.3 Roll -off Box Service <br />Contractor shall provide exclusive (as limited by Section 2.9) permanent and temporary <br />Roll -off Box Collection service upon request. Contractor must deliver a temporary Roll - <br />off Box to a Customer within two business days (excluding Saturday, Sunday and <br />holidays listed in Section 4.7.1) of request. Special request to empty Roll -off Boxes <br />outside of regularly scheduled Collections shall be performed within one business day. <br />Contractor will provide standard 10, 30 and 40-cubic-yard standard Roll -off Boxes. The <br />provision of compactor Roll -off Boxes, which are enclosed Containers attached to a <br />compaction devise, is not included in this Agreement. Providing service to such <br />compactor Roll -off Boxes is included. <br />Contractor shall transport and process Roll -off loads at a MRF in compliance with <br />CalRecycle and acceptable to the City. <br />In the event that Contractor is unable to provide temporary service to any Customer <br />within five (5) business days (excluding Saturday, Sunday, or holidays listed in Section <br />4.7.1), Executive Director may permit any other licensed hauler to provide service if, but <br />only if, Contractor has not provided service within twenty-four (24) hours after <br />reasonable notification by Executive Director. <br />4.3.4 Temporary Bin Service <br />Contractor shall provide exclusive (as limited by Section 2.9) temporary Bin Service to <br />Customers upon request. Contractor must deliver a temporary Bin to a Customer the <br />next business day (excluding Saturday, Sunday or holidays listed in Section 4.7.1), if <br />requested by 12:00 noon; otherwise, delivery shall be no later than the second day. <br />Rates for temporary Bin Service are listed separately in the approved rate schedule. <br />August 17, 2021 48 City of Santa Ana <br />
