He has extensive experience with rail yards, <br />rail stations and platforms, grade separations, street improvement <br />projects, and beautification projects involving the installation of curb <br />and gutter, subgrade preparation, water mains, storm drains, pump <br />stations, retainingwalls, paving, striping, and landscape. Dominic is an <br />excellent utility coordinator and brings electrical experience with <br />traffic signals, lighting systems (single and series), installation of traffic <br />signal controllers, installation of utility conduits, and electrical service <br />installations. Dominic is knowledgeable in Caltrans Standard Plans & <br />Specifications, Green Book Standard Plans & Specifications and the Work <br />Area Traffic Control Handbook (WATCH Manual). <br />Work History <br />Lead Inspector, Fullerton Road Grade Separation, San Gabriel Valley <br />Council of Governments (SGVCOG)/Alameda Corridor -East <br />Construction Authority (ACE), City of Industry, CA. Berg & Associates, <br />Inc. Jul. 2019 —July 2021. Dominic is serving as lead inspector for this <br />$84 million grade separation project in the City of Industry that <br />involves over 14,000 feet of railroad track construction, over 10,000 <br />feet of retaining wall construction, 3 bridge structures (UPRR, <br />roadway, and pedestrian), and an extensive, deep sewer and storm <br />drain with dewatering measures. This complex 5-stage project has 19 <br />phases that require the closure of the City's main thoroughfare while <br />Fullerton Road is lowered under the existing UPRR tracks and a four - <br />track railroad bridge is built. <br />Utility Coordinator/Lead Civil Inspector, Raymond Avenue Grade <br />Separation, City of Fullerton/Orange County Transportation <br />Authority (OCTA), Fullerton, CA. Berg & Associates, Inc. 2014 — Nov. <br />2018. Dominic coordinated with utility companies for the relocation <br />of major pipelines and underground, as well as overhead, utilities for <br />this $45 million grade separation. He oversaw inspection of civil work <br />which began with utility relocations followed by new construction of <br />a railroad shoofly and bridge construction. Dominic coordinated the <br />building of the detour road which included at -grade crossings for the future mainline tracks as well as the <br />shoofly tracks. This required extensive signal coordination to maintain PUC requirements.
